28 FICS® Customers Included in Annual Survey of Top Commercial/Multifamily Servicers
DALLAS, July 14, 2015 — Financial Industry Computer Systems, Inc. (FICS®), a provider of loan origination software, residential servicing software and commercial servicing software for the mortgage industry, today announced that 28 of its servicing clients were ranked in the top 100 companies by the Mortgage Banking Association (MBA) for its 2014 Year-End Survey of Commercial/Multifamily Servicing Volumes.
MBA's survey of servicers is released twice a year -- mid-year and year-end -- and gathers data on the volume of loans serviced. It includes breakouts for primary, master and special servicing. It also ranks servicing firms by their total servicing volumes, as well as their servicing for specific investor groups, including CMBS, life insurance companies, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, FHA and other investor groups.
Capital Funding, LLC, an FICS customer based in Baltimore, Md., has been recognized on the list for its total primary and master servicing of total loans, commercial bank/savings institution loans, and other loans. An FICS customer since 2000, Capital Funding successfully uses FICS’ Commercial Servicer, Commercial Accountant, and LoanStat for servicing.
“Commercial Servicer seems as if it was built just for us. It's one of those platforms that is so user-friendly, you don't need a lot of training or support to use, but if you ever did, FICS has a great team in place to assist. The system is straightforward and simple. I don't think you could ask for much more in a servicing platform,” said Amber Howard, portfolio manager at Capital Funding, LLC.
FICS customers included in these rankings rely heavily on FICS’ Commercial Servicer® software to manage their commercial loan portfolios. Commercial Servicer provides the most comprehensive and cost-effective system for commercial loan servicing. The software automates the servicing of commercial loans including multi-family and commercial real-estate, income property and construction, as well as accommodates the servicing of lines of credit, loans for equipment, inventory and more.
“As investor reporting and regulatory requirements continue to increase within the mortgage industry, we have seen many servicing companies consistently struggle to keep up with the latest demands required of them,” said Susan Graham, president and COO of FICS. “With 28 of our servicing customers included in the MBA rankings, we see that as a true reflection of the impact our Commercial Servicer system has on their ability to manage loan volumes and successfully meet the changing needs of investors and regulators.”
