Position - Loan Producer® System Support Manager

FICS® is searching for a self-starter, with about five to ten years in the residential mortgage industry with hands-on origination and processing experience with residential loans. We are looking for someone to join our Loan Producer® support team with the end goal of growing into the manager of this team, by learning our software and being an active part of fulfilling the FICS® purpose in supporting our customers.  Extensive knowledge of residential loan origination, including processing, secondary marketing, underwriting, closing, and shipping, as well as previous management experience, is preferred.

 

FICS® System Support team members:

  • Provide high-quality software support and consulting via phone and email.
  • Create, prepare, and conduct engaging, informative software training classes and webinars to FICS® customers, virtually, as well as in-house Dallas training and onsite customer locations.
  • Are the front lines in testing the FICS® software for quality assurance.

 

FICS® System Support Managers:

  • Handle the same tasks above of their team members while also managing the department, including handling escalated customer issues or concerns and the day-to-day activities of the team.
  • Oversee all aspects of customer and employee training, including developing content, agendas, and schedules.
  • Ensure customer support is accurate, efficient, and adequately documented.
  • Collaborate with other teams to help facilitate the accuracy, implementation and timeliness of the release of system enhancements and regulatory changes.
  • Update system documentation with each release.
  • Develop and present content for the annual FICS® Users’ Conference.
  • Perform annual employee reviews for their team members.

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines without supervision.
  • Ability to conduct presentations before large groups.
  • Ability to travel across the United States on short notice. (During the current pandemic conditions, this has been temporarily suspended until further notice; however, it is still a requirement of the position to be able to travel should the suspension end.)
  • Ability to convey patience and understanding to customers in person, over the phone and via e-mail, as well as to co-workers and team members.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Five to ten years of experience in the Residential Mortgage Industry with some management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of loan origination including processing, secondary marketing, underwriting, closing, and shipping.

  • Create, prepare, and conduct engaging, informative software training classes and webinars to FICS® customers, virtually, as well as in-house Dallas training and onsite customer locations.
