Position: Mortgage Servicer® System Support

FICS® is grateful to have continually grown its customer base, even during the COVID-19 pandemic, and is searching for an enthusiastic mortgage loan servicing software system support team member to join its FICS® Family of employees who support its customers.

A System Support team member at FICS® is the first in line to provide high-quality mortgage loan servicing software system support and consulting, to help disentangle the mortgage process for our clients. Each communication directly effects the efficiency of our customers’ operations and their success. System Support team members communicate with customers via phone calls and email in a fast-paced environment, train FICS® customers to use the FICS® software, perform FICS® product webinars, and are the first in line in the collaborative process of testing the FICS® software for quality assurance.

What you bring:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in the residential mortgage loan servicing industry.
  • A solid understanding of mortgage loan servicing. Knowledge of escrow administration, ARM analysis, payment processing, investor reporting, and/or IRS reporting is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as an eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to travel across the U.S. on occasion.

Position: Software Developer/Programmer (ASP.NET/C #) 

The Software Developer/Programmer plays an integral role within FICS® and the Software Development team. Working with the SVP of Technology and other product design teams, this role is involved in full lifecycle development for mortgage software applications.

A team player in this position also works closely with the Business Analysts to gather requirements, system and database design, coding, testing and implementing solutions.

Major Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Participates in the development of consumer-facing ASP.NET Web applications.
  • Participates with Technical team to design and code applications in C# /.NET.
  • Collaborates with Business Analysts to maintain compliance with Federal lending regulations.
  • Works closely with business representatives and Technical staff to ensure system and business requirements are clearly documented and understood during the design, development, testing, and deployment phases of a project.

What you bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years professional software development experience.
  • Must have C#, .NET, and Visual Studio experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Proven delivery of production ready applications written in ASP.NET MVC.
  • Demonstrated understanding and usage of object-oriented design principles and relevant code separation methodologies.
  • Excellent time management - Proven team-oriented developer with ability to deliver quality solutions on time.
  • Interpersonal Skills - Ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical competency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid Texas Driver License and Vehicle Liability Insurance.
