FICS^® Celebrates 30 Years of  Successful Users' Conferences

Close your eyes. Now imagine a mortgage software conference where you’re able to discuss the impact of regulatory changes and updates to your origination or servicing system directly with the people in charge of these changes. Think of the interaction you would like to have with other users of the mortgage software you use, as well as give input into what you would like to see included in your mortgage origination or mortgage servicing software. Now open your eyes. No need to imagine. FICS^® has been holding this event for decades. On April 6, FICS kicked off its 30^th Annual Users’ Conference.

For 30 years, FICS has held its annual users’ conference, which offers timely educational seminars, announcements about upcoming enhancements or changes, and breakout sessions for users to assist other users with ways to solve industry problems using FICS’ software. Some of the topics covered this year were how to prepare for Fannie Mae’s Future Changes to Investor Reporting, upcoming changes to HMDA, and a Q&A session with BairdLaw, a Texas law firm, to discuss lingering questions about TRID. Guest speakers included representatives from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and QuestSoft.
