FICS Establishes Interface with PPDocs.com
- Interface eliminates redundant data entry in loan origination process -
SAN DIEGO, October 20, 2003 - Financial Industry Computer Systems, Inc. (FICS), a mortgage technology specialist that provides in-house residential origination technology to the mortgage industry, announced today at the 90th MBA Annual Convention & Expo that it has successfully established an interface between its residential loan origination system (LOS), Loan Producer, and PPDocs.com, a Web-based residential mortgage loan document ordering platform provided by Texas-based, PeirsonPatterson, LLP.
The interface was established this summer and is currently in beta testing at Fort Worth, Texas-based, TexasBank and Dallas-based, Community Credit Union.
"The conversion with FICS went very smoothly and was ahead of schedule due in large part to the strong communication between PeirsonPatterson and FICS, " said TexasBank executive, Frances Flinn. "With the volume increase we have all experienced this year, we could not have managed it as successfully without them and this conversion. The data in Loan Producer now easily downloads to PPDocs.com and is ready to submit for closing, which our closers love because of the time it saves them."
This interface enables Loan Producer users to streamline the process of moving loan data from the LOS to PPDocs.com. Prior to the interface, Loan Producer users were required to load data into the LOS and then manually re-input the same data into PPDocs.com - a redundant process. Now, Loan Producer users are able to eliminate the manual input into PPDocs.com, as the interface makes it possible to successfully move the data with the click of a single on-screen button within Loan Producer.
