FICS Promotes Susan Graham to Vice President of Operations
DALLAS, Oct. 10, 2006 – Financial Industry Computer Systems, Inc. (FICS), a mortgage technology specialist that provides in-house residential origination and servicing technology and commercial servicing technology to the mortgage industry, announced today that it has promoted current vice president of customer service, Susan Graham, to vice president of operations. In addition to maintaining her supervision of FICS' customer service initiatives, Graham will now be responsible for overall management of the company's day-to-day operations.
The promotion is a strategic one for FICS as it enhances its senior management infrastructure to support both recent growth and expected future growth. In her new role, Graham will assume some of the operations oversight responsibilities from FICS president and CEO, Dawn Gibbs. This will effectively centralize customer service and supporting operations and will enable Gibbs to devote more time to long-term planning and defining the company's strategic goals and vision.
Graham joined FICS in 1999 , and is responsible for the management of the call center, customer training, consulting, and quality control for FICS' origination and servicing solutions. Prior to joining FICS, Graham served as 1st vice president of Residential and Commercial Loan Servicing and Origination for San Antonio Federal Credit Union (SACU), where she successfully managed the residential servicing department, the commercial loan servicing department and the home equity and home improvement lending departments. She also gained valuable experience as vice president of Cash Operations for SACU, where she managed the ATM department, the wire transfer department, the item processing department and the commercial vault. She was also responsible for the cash management of Branch Operations and the teller training department.
“As we continue to grow and evolve as a company, it is imperative that we proactively construct a structural, technological and human infrastructure that will support and encourage the future success of FICS,” said Dawn Gibbs, president and CEO of FICS. “Success begins with having the most talented people working toward a common goal and I feel strongly that Susan is representative of that goal within our company. I am very excited for Susan and the opportunities that her new role will present, and I am equally excited for the opportunities that this will afford me as I focus on the future growth of FICS.”
